Jasmin Perrier, LMSW (she/her) graduated with a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University, and has extensive certifications and trainings in EMDR and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. They are currently licensed in NY and soon to be licensed in Virginia as well, and able to participate in coaching with eligible folx in other states.
Jasmin identifies as a Black queer woman and believes that it is important to honor her identity alongside clients, while recognizing how those identities interact with systems of power and oppression throughout our country. Jasmin uses a strengths-based lens to encourage self-exploration while fostering self-compassion for her clients, and uses modalities such as CBT, DBT, Somatic therapies, IFS, EMDR, and more. She deeply enjoys collaboratively working with clients and their medical teams to better understand their needs, goals, and support systems to approach healing from a systemic lens.
Jasmin has experience working with clients with symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks/disorder, depression, phase of life transitions, relationship issues, complex and acute PTSD, and trauma. She particularly loves working with young adults exploring their identities, learning emotional regulation, and working on improving interpersonal relationships. Together with the client(s), Jasmin aims to create a safe, affirming, and intentional therapeutic space that challenges her clients to strive for deeper processing and resilience building.
In her free time, Jasmin enjoys baking, sewing, and hosting craft nights with friends and family.
Jasmin is currently taking new clients in person in Arlington, VA or virtually in Virginia and New York. Contact her now to book a 10 minute free video consultation to assess fit.
